11084NAT Course in Asbestos Awareness

Course Description

The Course in Asbestos Awareness 11084NAT provides learners with knowledge of the hazards and risks associated with asbestos exposure and inhalation. Learners will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to determine when and where asbestos and Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) may be present, the precautions that need to be taken if it is present and reporting procedures.

This course does NOT provide course participants with the knowledge to perform asbestos removal work or to perform minor routine maintenance work or other minor work. The course also involves understanding each individual’s general duty of care to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all workers, visitors, contractors and others in the workplace.
